In Norse mythology, Odin was the god of war but also of poetry and inspiration. Let your dining table be inspired by this modern classic. Designed by preeminent Danish designer Jens Quistgaard in 1962, Odin is truly one of the more unique Scandinavian modern flatware patterns, thanks primarily to its dinner knife. The knife blade, symmetrically flared and flattened at the tip, looks more like an oar for a Viking ship that something to cut a piece of chicken with, but is quite an experience to use. Odin forks feature three short tines that curve into an oval, much as the spoon bowls do, all flowing smoothly into wide necks, straight flat handles, and blunt ends. A range of serving pieces with oversized heads and short handles add further tabletop fanfare. In keeping with the Dansk philosophy that good design should be carefree, Odin is made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel that is safe for dishwasher cleaning.
